Unable to watch anime?

Has your favorite anime website been shut down? It might be because of the new law that the Japanese government launched in order to prevent illegal uploads of anime and manga. The Manga-Anime Guardians project is created to remove any illegal uploads of anime and manga which means the websites that hosts them will be targeted and forced to shut down.  

According to Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) over half of anime and manga fans in the United States watch and reads pirated works, the estimated cost of damage from online piracy is around $20 billion worldwide. In recent years the pirated websites begun to earn revenues through advertisements, selling Apps and URL shortners that pay according to hits. The Manga-Anime Guardians project claims that “They are exploiting Manga and Anime just for the sake of money,”.
